Best Push Block for Table Saw Reviews
1. GRR-RIPPER 3D Pushblock for Table Saw
This is an all-around great push stick that gives the right buyer a ton of utility.
Not so Good
It’s also uncommonly expensive. You are going to have to be willing to shell out the big bucks if you want to get your hands on this product.
For buyers that want the best piece of equipment that they can get their hands on no matter what the cost, we have the extremely effective GRR-Ripper push block. This highly versatile product will be as suitable for the table saw as it is for the miter saw, pr many other comparable products.
The wide range of use, as well as the full range of adjustability, makes it a great tool for the person that tends to use their saw a lot.
Of course, you are going to have to pay a good deal for this plastic block. Because of the heightened price tag, it tends to favor buyers with a little bit more experience. Still, if you fall into that category you are sure to find plenty to like.
2. Gripper(TM) 200 Advanced System with 1/8
The Gripper is a versatile product that is compatible with most table saws. It is sure to improve the quality of most people’s work.
Not so Good
This is another pricey piece of equipment that budget buyers will want to steer clear of.
The Gripper TM tends to perform quite similarly to our top choice. The unit features a blade guard that will improve safety and is sure to effortlessly add pressure to your workpiece.
As far as push blocks go this unit is going to help accomplish pretty much everything you need all in one convenient package. It also tends to be very easy to use which means you don’t really need a ton of experience to get the most out of this microjig.
The only real issue is that, like our top choice, this unit is on the pricier side. If you are trying to stick to a tight budget this won’t be the one for you.
3. GRR-RIP BLOCK Smart Hook Pushblock
This unit serves as an excellent opportunity to get a good deal on a product that comes from a great product.
Not so Good
The plastic isn’t durable enough to work with tougher stock.
The GRR Rip Blocks is an affordable take on the last products that we looked at. For a fair price you get a tool that includes an ergonomic grip, automatically retracting hooks and a high level of brand name recognition.
If you are looking for a 3d push block that won’t break the bank this will be one of the best options to consider.
Unfortunately, there is something of a durability problem to be aware of. Though this push block will be able to improve your cut quality and the safety of your operations it’s not durable enough to go the distance.
The plastic will break down over time at which point you are going to need to replace the product. Still, if you want a decent product at a great price that will be good for occasional use, look no further.
4. POWERTEC 71009 Safety Push Block and Stick Set
It’s an affordable product that is very versatile and ergonomic.
Not so Good
There are some troubling user reports.
This next unit is an affordable and ergonomic piece of equipment that will be great for improving safety on occasional use. It is compatible with table saws as well as a range of other tools, and it will be an altogether effective piece of gear for budget-minded buyers.
What’s not to like right? Well, unfortunately, I have come across some fairly serious user complaints that cut against the effectiveness of the tool Some people claim that they had their push block break down while in mid-use. Consequently, some minor injuries have ensured.
Granted, it is hard to say if this is because POWERTEC 71009 Safety Push Block and Stick Set hey used the tool improperly or if it just doesn’t quite work right.
In any case, it may be to your benefit to approach the tool with some degree of caution.
5. GRR-RIPPER Advanced 3D Pushblock for Table Saw
It’s a great all-purpose piece of equipment that will do well to protect against kick back and other issues that can occur when you try to cut tough stock.
Not so Good
This is a fairly expensive push block.
The GRR-Ripper Advanced is a highly versatile push block that will do well to work with table saws as well as a wide range of other tools. If you are looking for something that will enhance the overall safety of your workshop this is a good piece of gear to pay attention to.
In addition to being versatile, it is also fairly comfortable.thanks to an ergonomic grip. With this feature you shouldn’t have any problem safely using the push block for long periods of time.
The only real issue is that it is fairly pricey. That is a fairly common trend when it comes to GRR-Ripper products. They are very good at what they do but you wind up paying for the impressive utility.
6. MLCS 9167 Safety Push Block and 5-Piece Stick Package
This is a fair priced package for buyers that want something basic but effective.
Not so Good
It won’t hold up extremely well to heavy-duty use.
The MLCS features a rubber-padded grip that will be great at adding firm pressure without disturbing the integrity of your workpiece. This is a five-piece set that can be effectively used with a wide range of different tools.
It’s also lightweight and relatively easy to store and transport. All in all, it is a fairly reliable product that is available at a fair price. If you are an average user that only occasionally uses their push block this will be a good product to consider.
That said, it does have some durability problems to bear in mind. Basically, if you use the push block often it probably isn’t going to hold up very well.
7. Piece Woodworking Safety Kit Handle Push Stick
It’s a four-piece set that features a moderate price tag.
Not so Good
The magnetic connectivity component is not going to work so well with some saws. If you have aluminum gear this won't’ be the product for you.
If you are looking for an effective piece of equipment that is available at a good price you may find plenty to like with our second to last unit. This magnetized set is easy to work with and is specifically idealized for use with table saws.
If you are on a restrictive budget you are sure to find plenty to like with this product. That said, I did notice a couple of minor issues. For one thing, it isn’t as durable as some of the higher-end products on our list. Not a huge deal, but if you use your saws regularly you may want something with a little bit more fortification.
There is also a problem with the magnets. While magnetized power tool accessories are very handy, they are also limited in what they can accomplish. If you have an aluminum table saw you aren’t going to be able to get much use out of this unit.
8. Safety Push Block 2 Pack
This is the most affordable product on our list by far.
Not so Good
Unfortunately, price is about the only thing that this unit has going for it.
The Safety Push Block is probably the most affordable option you are eery going to come across. This fair priced two-pack is about half the cost of the second most expensive unit on the list, making it a truly appealing option for people that don’t have much to spend.
It also comes in a highly visible highlighter orange color that does well to enhance the safety factor. Unfortunately though, there simply is not much else to say about this product. It isn’t extremely durable, and it won’t work very well with larger saws. Basically, it is an acceptable tool for very occasional use. However, if you are really serious about your saw use you will want to look for something else.
What to look for when Buying a Push Block
Now that you’ve seen what is out there let’s take a look at some buying considerations that might simplify your decision somewhat.
As you probably noticed, push blocks tend to be available for a wide range of different prices. Really awesome products tend to be in the $50 range. For that price you get something that will effectively last forever. What’s more, pricier units tend to be more versatile than their cheaper equivalents.
All of the units on our list do well to work with table saws but if you want something with heightened versatility you may need to be willing to pay more for it.
While the color of a push block is not critical, it can help to get something that is very visible. The more visibility the tool accessory has, the safer it tends to be. I prefer push blocks in a bright highlighter orange.
The good news is that manufacturers already know that this is an important factor and most of them design their products accordingly.
No matter who you are or what kind of tool you are shopping for, chances are that you will want to invest in something that is ergonomic. The more comfortable the grip the easier the time you will have using it for long hours on the job.
Many of the units on our list today featured ergonomic grips that make them suitable for the buyer that demands comfort.
The quality of the pads is also an important consideration to keep in mind. Why? In certain situations, pads can actually damage the workpiece that you are using. That being the case, you are going to want to invest in something that tends to be gentle on the surfaces that it handles.
I like foam or rubber pads for this very reason. This is actually a pretty common feature, but also not one that you should take as granted. To ensure the best possible results you will want to check out the specifications on the product in question before you finalize a buying decision.
You also will want to investigate the sort of compatibility that a push block has to offer. The more versatile the push block, the more utility you will ultimately get out of it. Some of the best products on our list are able to work with virtually any type of saw that you can think of.
Keep in mind that the more versatility you have at your disposal the better off you will ultimately be. Even if you are currently only using a table saw, you will probably improve your arsenal eventually. When that happens it is worthwhile to be well prepared.
Can I make my own push block?
It is always best to buy a professional-grade piece of equipment.

It is hard to say which push block is best. In this article we looked at eight really great pieces of equipment. All of them are the best for someone. Hopefully this guide has helped you to decide which is right for you.
